At Shenandoah you have a faculty advisor based upon your major who will guide course selection, internships and other issues related to your major. Learners also have access to the Office of Academic Advising, Transitions and Progression (AATP) for additional support. The AATP focus is to help you achieve your academic goals, regardless of your major.

I want to take a course at my local community college; what’s the process for transferring that course to Shenandoah?

I am a transfer student; do I have to take FYS?

As a transfer student, you will take an additional three-credit course from the 导航的差异 sphere instead of the traditional FYS. If you have earned an associate’s degree (not Associate of Applied 科学) prior to transferring, your general education requirements are waived and you won’t have to take this either!
